After finishing his course, he worked on cruise ships for 6 months where he played all styles of music from jazz to pop. He gained valuable experience and made plenty of contacts. Pete gradually made a name for himself and he has played for artists such as Shirley Bassey, Lionel Richie, The Bee Gees and Ronan Keating. Pete has also played in a host of West End shows and he is currently playing in 'Joseph'.
Pete started his master class playing a few of his own songs. He was joined by Darryn Farrugia on drums and Andrew McKinney on bass. His melodic solos kept the audience listening at all times. His music was very enjoyable and his advice was top class. He speaks of the importance of getting your sight reading together because there are plenty of reading gigs out there. This is how he has made a living. He gave us tips on learning the notes on the fretboard and getting into small shows and how to build your reputation.
Pete's master class was the best I have been to yet. His advice was brilliant and so was his playing.
